Hardaway’s Country Store

Hoop cheese and shotgun shells, Aisle 4

  • The rural store was the heart of the community, a place to gas up the car, get bread and milk for supper, a belt for the tractor, feed for the cows, and a little community gossip.

  • This store was moved from CR 1716 and CR 1797 in 2003. It was owned and operated by the Hardaway's. They lived in the back of the store. Click here for more history.
