Train Engine from Lake Forest Park

From 1948 when Lake Forest Park first opened, through the early 1970’s, this engine and three cars entertained thousands of youngsters and adults alike.

Riders were taken around familiar scenes of East Texas along 2,200 feet of track. Crossing the Sabine River, Through a tunnel and across the Piney woods, riders returned to the familiar station where their adventures began.
